Private Label Denim for B2B Programs

Velden Denim supports private label development for fashion brands, importers, wholesalers, retailers and e-commerce programs. Branding and packaging can be prepared for straight jeans, denim shorts, denim overalls, flare jeans and other approved denim garments.

Private label details may include woven labels, size and care labels, hangtags, branded buttons or rivets, embroidery, individual poly bags, paper boxes and export cartons. The exact combination should reflect the buyer’s distribution method, order quantity and destination requirements.

Artwork, dimensions, materials, colors and placement should be confirmed during sampling so the garment and packaging follow one approved brand specification.

Label Artwork and Placement

Buyers should provide clear artwork together with the required label size, color, material and sewing position. Vector files are preferred for woven labels and other small branding details because they help maintain clear lines and readable lettering.

Common label requirements include:

• Care and composition label

• Logo position

• Tag attachment method

Care and composition information should be supplied or approved by the buyer according to the destination market. Velden Denim does not assume regulatory wording without confirmed instructions.

A physical label sample is recommended before bulk production to check spelling, color, dimensions, edge finishing and attachment. Logo-related hardware and embroidery can be coordinated through our Trims, Logo & Accessories process.

Hangtags and Branded Garment Details

Hangtags can be developed around the buyer’s artwork, shape, dimensions, paper selection and attachment method. Buyers should also specify whether the tag requires product information, size, color, barcode or other order-specific details.

Branded buttons, rivets and embroidery should use the same approved artwork and color direction as the labels and hangtags. Metal finishes, thread colors and logo sizes may appear different on screen, so physical samples provide a more reliable reference.

Private label components can have separate supplier minimums. Standard materials and simpler artwork may support a more flexible MOQ, while custom hardware, special tag shapes or less common materials can increase cost and development time.

Individual and Retail Packaging

Packaging is selected according to how the garments will be stored, shipped and presented. Available directions may include:

• Individual transparent poly bags
• Buyer-specified printed bags
• Paper inserts
• Size or color stickers
• Paper boxes
• Retail-ready packaging
• Inner cartons
• Export cartons

Buyers should provide artwork, dimensions, packing quantity and any required marking information. Packaging feasibility depends on material availability, printing requirements, order quantity and carton arrangement.

A packing sample or layout should be reviewed when the order includes custom printed materials or a specific retail presentation. The approved sample confirms how the jeans are folded, labeled and placed inside the selected packaging.

Export Cartons and Packing Specifications

Bulk packing should follow a confirmed specification covering the number of garments per carton, size and color assortment, carton dimensions, shipping marks and any required internal protection.

MOQ, Sampling and Bulk Approval

Customized denim orders usually start from around 100 pieces per style. Private label materials may have separate minimums depending on artwork, printing, hardware and packaging construction.

Sample development normally takes around 7–15 days, but custom trims or printed packaging can require additional preparation. Bulk production normally takes around 30–60 days after the garment sample, branding, materials and packing details are approved.

For an evaluation, send the product style, quantity per style and color, logo artwork, required labels, hangtag details, packaging type, carton requirements, destination and preferred trade term. These details allow us to assess the workable MOQ, sample route, cost and production schedule.
